You probably know Kim Shircliffe-Kerfoot from Protect Automotive on Third Street Road at Outer Loop.  What you probably don’t know about Kim is that she is receiving media attention for her website she launched last week.  Business First and a local news channel are interested in doing a story about her website, StreamThatCause.com that will surely get the attention of groups or organizations who are looking for fundraising ideas.

Kim’s website allows visitors to donate to different causes.  That isn’t new to the internet; however, creating and uploading a video explaining your cause is innovative.  Kim refers to the video you upload as the Video Web-a-Thon thus the name of her website, StreamThatCause.com.  “There is no more powerful way to promote the needs for donations than through video.  Video is very compelling, especially when it is real people telling real stories,” says Kim.

Kim is currently raising money for The Kentucky Humane Society’s Pet Food Bank using her new website.  Visitors can see a streaming web video about her cause, read a description of her efforts, and see how much money has been raised.  Supporters can make a pledge, donate and leave a message.

For more information, please email Kim at kim@streamthatcause.com.
